There is considerable, emerging evidence of the benefits of dance as an exercise option for older people especially those with conditions such as dementia, osteo-arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and depression. DBMAS and Alzheimer’s Association of WA have evaluated the impact of Wu Tao on people with dementia and found improved effects on both quality of life and the symptoms of agitation.
