License Renewal
Hopefully you are now aware of the changes that have been made to the Wu Tao Teacher License Renewals.

All the information and payment options are there.
There are now two options for you to choose from.
Basic Community – either $297 per year or $27.50 per month (incl GST) or
Premium Business – either $415.80 per year or $38.50 per month (incl GST).

You can pay your renewal through the website. This fee will give you the rights to teach Wu Tao for the following 12 months.
We appreciate prompt payment, either full payment or 1st monthly payment, as soon as your renewal is due.
How to Renew
Go to https://wutaodance.com/
Select which payment option you have chosen and click ADD TO CART, then click GO TO CHECKOUT in the pop up window and this will take you to a paypal payment page. You do not have to have a paypal account to pay your membership, but please enter your email address and billing details. You should have the option to pay via credit/debit card.

Website Listing
There are a number of changes that will affect you as an instructor.
The most important is that your listing will no longer show your classes, just the suburbs in which you teach.
Basic Community Membership
This allows you to teach Wu Tao, have your name, phone number, email address and suburbs listed on the Find An Instructor page – https://wutaodance.com/classes. It does not allow you to list your website.
Premium Business Membership
The Premium Business Membership option (either full or monthly) gives you the option to have your own Wu Tao site which can be linked from the main site OR link to your own site that is not specifically Wu Tao. This ultimately means you can tell people about your site, advertise your classes, promote yourself and what you are doing, make commission from Wu Tao products and generally get YOURSELF out there.
Your site will read like this: www.wutadance.com/yoursite.
You can call your site whatever you want, however, I highly recommend you using your name and/or area so people searching for a class on google can find you quickly. For example: www.wutaodance.com/annanyc or www.wutaodance.com/cronulla, or www.wutaodance.com/
Training videos have been set up to help you create your site.
Pages you will need for your site
- An About page: Write a page about you!
- Classes and events: A page about what you are offering.
- Testimonials: Any feedback you have from your students can go on this page. You can call it what you like
- Articles: if you have written any articles or have something wonderful to share with your readers, then have a couple of these ‘blog posts’ ready. (PS please don’t use articles I have written as this won’t be good for the search engines.).
- Images: Portrait image for your about page. Any other images you want to use. (you are welcome to use any of the Wu Tao images in drop box including the new ones which are now available to you there).
Earn Commission as an Affiliate
The Affiliate program is now set up on the site. You can earn commissions by directing people to wutaodance.com through using your unique affiliate link and banner images on your own website and by email to your contacts. You can easily share and make commission on all wu tao products by using your affiliate links once you have signed up.
Here’s how you sign up
- Sign in with your instructor username and password here:
- https://wutaodance.com/instructors-path/instructors-only/
- Now go back to the wutaodance.com website and under ‘shop’ there is a link called Affiliate Area
- Click here.
- Fill in your details with your same wu tao username etc.
- And that’s it!
- Once you have done that you will be taken to a page with your affiliate links and banners already coded with your personal link which you can place in emails, newsletters and on your own website.
- Come back to this page regularly to check your status and any commissions owing.
Withdrawal from Teaching Wu Tao
If by some reason you feel you do not wish to continue teaching Wu Tao, please let us know in writing as soon as possible. If we don’t receive a written notice of withdrawal from you, we will assume you are still teaching and you will be charged pro rata up until we receive written notification from you. For example, if you do not let us know until say April that you are no longer teaching, you will be charged a pro rata amount from your License Renewal date until you let us know. If we have not received any communication or payment from you within 40 days from renewal date, your name will be withdrawn from the teacher website page as well you will be charged the prorata fee (up until you are taken off the website). If prorata fee payments are not received within 40 days, a 10% overdue fee will be incurred. Unfortunately, we have had to take these measures as we can no longer support debts that are outstanding.

Please check your listing regularly on https://wutaodance.com/classes/ page and advise of any changes to your contact details and suburb listings.
