Or deposit to: Wu Tao International – ANZ – BSB: 016-307 – Account No: 224812382
Please put name and/or invoice no. on transfer and email Kate for notification of Payment
If you wish to pay by credit card, please email Kate for a Paypal Request. This method of payment incurs a 3.5% credit card surcharge and is the preferred method of payment if paying internationally.
Payment
Please pay all invoices promptly. If payment is not made within 2 months of original invoice, a $10.00 late payment fee will be charged monthly. If an account is still outstanding after 4 months it will be referred to a debt collector and you will be charged for any extra fees that this incurs. We regret having to take this tough stance but it is not possible for Wu Tao to hold outstanding accounts of this length. We greatly appreciate your prompt payment.
Wu Tao Administration uses MYOB as its accounting package. You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to read the invoices etc (please check on the internet for instructions i.e. if you do not already have this installed, please google Adobe Reader and follow the directions). When a payment is received Kate will email you a receipt/invoice i.e. MYOB invoice with the balance of payment stated on it (MYOB does not have email receipts unfortunately).
WHEN MAKING A PAYMENT, PLEASE CHECK THE TOTAL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE INVOICE AS THIS INCLUDES THE GST COMPONENT (there have been payments made without the GST included – customers have only checked the top of the invoice and not the bottom total which means that the invoice needs to be resent and another payment made – please ensure that the GST is paid to lessen the workload of both the Administrator’s and yourself!)
License Fees and Renewal License Fees
Now you have successfully completed the Teacher Training Programme, you have been given a one year license and Basic Instructor’s Circle membership.
When your license falls due, you have 30 days to pay, if payment is not received after this period your Instructor listing details will be removed from the Wu Tao website. If we do not receive a written notice of withdrawal from you, we will assume you are still teaching and you will be charged pro rata up until we receive written notification from you (i.e. if you do not let us know until June that you are no longer teaching, and your renewal was due in February, your invoice amount will be amended to take into account the time from February up until June.)
Teacher Enhancement Days
Attending an Enhancement Training annually is a condition of your license to keep your skills up to date and learn any new dances, meditations etc. Please make every effort to ensure your attendance and maintain your standards of practice. Michelle will send you details of these Trainings both in-house and online when she has set them for the year. If you cannot attend a training, please let us know and we will do our best to arrange an alternative method for you to be up-skilled.
Admin Support
At this stage Kate only works one day for Wu Tao, so if you have sent an email or payment etc. please understand that she may not be able to reply or receipt payments immediately but will get back to you as soon as she can.
Helpful Tips for Starting your Wu Tao Business from Michelle!
- If you have a database of your own, and want to make sure that your students always get Wu Tao newsletters and updates, you might want to consider putting their details in the website database. It’s easy to do. Just open at www.wutaodance.com then put their details individually in the sign up box and press submit. Then use the back button to do it again for the next person. (This is the way I keep it updated with my new contacts).
- Have your own website, newsletters and do your utmost to keep your own database updated and informed of what you are doing. People really like to know that you are committed to your work and regular information is a great way to stay in touch with your students and potential students.
- Remember that we have a presence on Facebook. Upload your classes, photos, videos etc and send fan updates. It’s easy and it actually works!
- Collect testimonials from your students. Write them into your website or promotional material. Send them to me and I will put them onto the Wu Tao website as well.
